I am passionate about sharing my knowledge and helping to grow the creativity of others, whether it's for a fun hobby or learning to expand your art practice. I love to take my real-life knowledge and help you grow your art practice as an illustrator, surface pattern designer, or hobbyist.

What you will learn in my classes:

I have worked both in-house for print studios and as a freelance designer. I am currently represented by Creative Sparrow in the UK, an agency specializing in art licensing, branding, advertising, and publishing sectors. My main specialty is licensing designs for giftware products, greeting cards, and gift wrap.

In my classes, we will focus on both analogue and digital skills for illustration and surface pattern design, with a strong emphasis on the giftware market, including products, greeting cards, and gift wrap.

I want to share my extensive knowledge with you. I will show you my tips for using Procreate and Adobe Photoshop.

With over 30 years of experience in the design industry, it's my pleasure to share my knowledge with you. I love teaching in person and have taught at the Edinburgh College of Art, as well as live workshops at the Ikea museum. My oldest student was 94, proving that you're never too old to learn. Over the past two years, I have taught live workshops at an adult education school in the town where I live in Sweden. These workshops included illustration techniques, surface pattern design, greeting card design, and how to create a daily sketchbook practice.
