"Root Vegetables" - The Golden Thread- Week 44

Hello Friday !
This is week 44 of the Golden Thread challenge.

A year-long drawing challenge I have been participating in called the "Golden Thread," organised by @jehane_ltd

This is the last theme of the year: "A Forager's Tale" and this week's prompt "Root Vegetables"

I decided to make a story with each illustration as a thread woven into the weekly prompts.

Here is this week's story.

The sky started to darken and fill up with rain clouds. The three friends began to feel tired and hungry. Suddenly their friend Rabbit appeared. He said, "Hey guys, are you hungry? You look like you need somewhere warm and a nice hot bowl of carrot soup." They replied, "Yes, please."

As the rain grew heavier, they followed Rabbit to his field full of carrots and beets. Rabbit opened the hatch to his home and they all climbed down the ladder to the warm burrow to wait out the rainstorm. They all enjoyed a warm cup of carrot soup. Where will the three friends go next on this adventure?

What will it be? No one knows until next week's Golden Thread.
