Day 9 of Jehane’s Twelve days of Christmas - “ Believe in magic”

It’s time to show my next illustration for Jehane's 12 Days of Christmas Challenge

This is day 9, "Believe in Magic." My Danish grandmother always loved Christmas time and shared so many traditions with me — from making Scandinavian decorations to baking and making Danish Christmas sweets.

There was one tradition we had together, and that was to go and see a Pantomime at the Kings Theatre in Edinburgh.

We would dress up and we would go together in her tiny mini car. We would spend the evening watching a magical play.

So this is one of my fondest memories of Christmas Magic. My Grandmother always made Christmas feel so cosy and magical.

So do you believe in magic too? Do you have some magical memories to share?

Thank you to Jehane and all her lovely artists who are hosting this year's challenge.
