French Window - The Golden Thread- Week 33

Hello Friday !

A year-long drawing challenge I have been participating in called the "Golden Thread," organised by @Jehane Ltd

This is the third theme "A room with a view" and this week's prompt "French Window"

The inspiration image for this prompt was of a painting by Matisse and his painting "French Window at Nice."

I loved the colour palette so I thought I would use my previous illustration from last week. See what it would look like if I were to show it in a daylight setting. I added a girl with French Girl vibes with her cat.

This is the result—it was fun to play a bit with light and colour and how you can transform a similar illustration into a totally different vibe.

Have you tried this with any of your illustrations?

Have a lovely weekend!

You can follow me on instagram to see more of my process and work. @Sussecollection
