Hello Friday!

This is week 35 of the Golden Thread challenge.

A year-long drawing challenge I have been participating in called the "Golden Thread," organised by Jehane Ltd.

This is the third theme "A room with a view" and this week's prompt "Still Life."

The reference picture was another painting by Henri Matisse and his painting "The Window," playing with the connection between the outside and interior of a room.

I found this week's prompt a tricky one and almost skipped this week. I turned up and decided to use the previous illustration from last week and zoom out to show the interior of the room.

Continuing the thread of a story.

The cat's owner has sailed of into the distance and the cat walks away—can you spot him in the room?
