"Mushroom Mysteries" - The Golden Thread- Week 41

Hello Friday!

This is week 41 of the Golden Thread challenge.

A year-long drawing challenge I have been participating in called the "Golden Thread," organised by Jehane Ltd.

This is the last theme of the year: "A Forager's Tale" and this week's prompt "Mushroom Mysteries"

In Sweden, it always amazes me how all kinds of mushrooms appear in my garden. Nature is an amazing time clock. When the mushrooms appear, you know it's autumn and winter will be just around the corner. You just don't know they're hidden deep in the earth until they magically appear. It’s that time of year when you wake up in the morning and the sky is inky black and moon is looking down at you with twinkling stars in the sky.

I really enjoyed working on this illustration I made a little story about the Squirrel and his friends

from last weeks illustration. They go on a moon lit night walk and marvel at these huge mysterious Mushrooms that appear in the forest.

I am so excited to visit Malmö tomorrow and the illustration Festival.
