Bologna Children's Book Fair Virtual Illustrators Wall.

Today is a big day on the illustration calendar. It is the start of the Bologna Children's Book Fair. @bolognachildrensbookfair my amazing agent, Hannah Curtis @creativesparrowart good luck as she braves the fair, making connections and meeting clients.

I would love to visit one day. Virtually, I am there on the illustrators' digital wall, in the UK illustration section, along with some of the talented Creative Sparrow artists.

I submitted my piece “When Big Meets Small” that was exhibited in Shanghai as part of the Chen Bochui International Children's Literature Award (CICLA) and the original illustration exhibition. This illustration is now part of the collection at the “Baoshan International Folk Arts Museum.”

It's Festive Friday

Today is “Festive Friday”created by the GCA, is a special day for everyone in the card industry (and all lovers of cards) to send their personal Christmas cards.

This day was  create a great first wave of beautiful cards arriving in early December to get keep everyone in touch with loved ones – and generate a Christmas card-sending mood! And this year it's more important than ever to send a card, share the love and stay connected.

As I am unable  go home for Christmas and see family and friends I will be sending lots of cards this year.

Planning to have a Christmas just like sleeping Santa here. Really cannot wait to just chill out this as this year has been a crazy one.

Also it will be my first ever Scandinavian Christmas. I am half Danish so every year especially as a child I would celebrate a Danish Christmas.

It has been hard to keep this secret but I can finally reveal I am now represented by The Creative Sparrow agency.
