Day 1 of Jehane’s Twelve days of Christmas - Snow Queen

I wasn't sure if I would participate in Jehane’s 12 Days of Christmas Challenge. I decided yes!

I have planned December to be a cosy month of building up new fresh pieces for my licensing portfolio.

Then I plan to close my studio for a winter break and much needed rest.

Christmas is a big deal in the licensing world. I did license a piece through my agent @creativesparrowart from last year's challenge for a cushion cover, so maybe I should take part this year! 😊

Here is my snow queen — she is protecting all the animals in the forest. I think she looks more like Sankta Lucia than a queen.

I am just working digitally for these pieces. So you can see my messy sketches and indecisions while making a piece.

I will try and show up for each prompt. They are really inspiring and I love to see everyone else's interpretations of the prompts.
