Day 3 of Jehane’s Twelve days of Christmas - A Victorian Christmas

A photograph of an illustration of Santa outside a department store

I don't usually post at the weekends. I am just saying hello and showing my next illustration for Jehane's 12 Days of Christmas Challenge Day 2 "Winter Nights."

This is day 3, " A Victorian Christmas." When I think of a Victorian Christmas, I think of all the really old, beautiful department stores in London. When I lived there, I loved to visit and look at all the wonderful Christmas window displays. When Rocket was small, he would get so excited hoping to see Santa.

Liberty and Selfridges are my favourite department stores and so creative with their windows and displays.

Here is Santa popping into an imaginary Grand department store. Is he buying himself a little treat or something for his hard-working elves?

Enjoy the rest of your weekend.😊

Thank you to Jehane and all her lovely artists who are hosting this year's challenge.
